I was wondering if the 07 Cooper\'s had any known problems so far. The newly designed car has only been around for a year, but I\'m sure there must be a few TSB\'s or maybe even a recall for known issues.

Thoughs, comments?

There was apparently a service bulletin for some cars whereby the fuse for the engine fan was replaced with a 40A.

Many owners have been reporting that the MCS engine is noisy during some cold starts, but BMW has yet to track down the problem... people on Mini2 and NAM have had their dealers try many remedies, including adjusting and replacing the cam chain tensioner, rebuilding the head, and replacing the entire engine, but the \'diesel\' sound always seems to return.

Apparently some cars have has a stalling issue during cold weather that has been fixed with an ECU firmware update.

A few owners have reported a LOUD whistle/howl at high speed which, in some cases, turned out to be coming from a faulty windshield seal.

Some good places to look for issues people have encountered with the R56:

...bearing in mind that only visit these links if you aren\'t easily frightened, as they will make these cars seem worse than they actually are. ;)

Thanks alot. Nothing major it seems and nothing that a warranty won\'t cover.
